who's your top 5 favorite emcee's?

and every single time, i list pun as my number 1, dead or alive. i always get asked why, or made fun of because others think he's "wack". honestly, i don't think these people have truly taken the time to listen to christopher rios. what other rapper do you know that could murder something so savagely as he did? even when he was playing around with a record, his words were always so precise; Pun was the nigga that could make you say 'ooooh shit, that was crazy!'

i may be the only female i know, who get's excited as fuck when i hear twins "deep cover 98"; 'cause back then, even joe was lettin' niggas know wassup! terror squad had shit on smash, and i wish rap could still have those incredible cliques as they did in the early & late 90s. it's sad that we let autotune take over the game, and i'm definitely glad jay murked that with D.O.A; i just dream of hiphop being what it used to be back when the greats were still alive, as all of my true hiphop lovers do;



hopefully we can shut souljah boy up long enough to hear some real shit!



he was definitely one of the emcee's who made me wanna pick up a pen and say some innovative shit, to strive to be different no matter who had a problem with it. this man was a fuckin' genius, and i was crushed when he passed, as i know other fans were. i think people need to get off jay z's nuts for two seconds and realize that there are other rappers who could put him to shame, if they only took time to really analyze! and i definitely think that if pun were alive today, he'd still be a heavyweight [ no PUN intended haha ]
